Jim is a chef and an award winning food photographer/cinematographer based in Southern California. As a classically trained chef and graduate from the Art Institute, his ability to cook and understand food helps him portray food in a unique way. He works with his clients to help them develop their brand through a creative visual narrative.
He is the chief photographer for Californios, Liholiho Yacht Club, Juniper and Ivy, The Crack Shack, Bar Kindred, Puesto and Spoleto Italian Restaurants. Contributing Photographer for Art Culinaire Magazine, Food and Wine Magazine, Life and Thyme Magazine, Tooth-Ache Magazine, Imbibe Magazine, Tales of the Cocktail, Bravo TV, DiningOut San Diego, LA Weekly as well as a host of restaurants/clients. In addition he is a consulting Leica photographer for Camera West and Leica San Francisco.
