Jim is a chef and an award winning food photographer/cinematographer based in Southern California. As a classically trained chef and graduate from the Art Institute, his ability to cook and understand food helps him portray food in a unique way. He works with his clients to help them develop their brand through a creative visual narrative.
He is the chief photographer for Californios, Protege, Liholiho Yacht Club, Lundy Way Aprons, Trust Restaurant Group and Royale. Contributing Photographer for Art Culinaire, The Michelin Guide, Food & Wine Magazine, Life and Thyme, The Migrant Kitchen, Imbibe Magazine, San Diego Magazine as well as a host of restaurants and clients. In addition he is a consulting Leica photographer for Camera West and Leica San Francisco.
He is the founder/director for Soigné Films. His production company focuses on creative story telling in the culinary and cocktail industry.
